Regional Partners/Regional Initiatives

The USAID | DELIVER PROJECT has identified three interventions that can promote local capacity and the use of existing human resources: (1) collaborate with local institutions to offer training, (2) work with local supply chain management consultants, and (3) establish a global community of practice for supply chain managers. These activities strengthen and make use of local capacity by using the skills and knowledge gained during individual performance improvement interventions.

The project collaborates with regional institutions, such as PRISMA in Peru, to conduct a variety of courses in supply chain management; the result has been an increase in local training capacity in supply chain management, as well as additional technical assistance resources.

In addition to supporting local training partners, the project has identified a number of local supply chain management professionals and encouraged them to join the project as consultants. The consultants work with the project’s technical advisors on a wide range of activities that address supply chain inefficiencies.
